San Diego, CA – February 6, 2018 Space Micro announced they have delivered a flight-qualified Ka-band transmitter for NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) program, following an extensive environmental qualification testing program at Space Micro’s San Diego production facility.Space Micro’s standard software defined Ka-Band transmitter supports transmit frequencies from 25.25 GHz to 27 GHz, data rates of up to 4 Gbps, and RF output power ranging from 3 mW to 5W.
