RF Immunity offers a wide range of connector sizes and types in various densities, meeting stringent military standards such as MIL-DTL-38999, MIL-DTL-26482, MIL-DTL-5015, MIL-DTL-83733, and ARINC 404. These connectors are ideal for filtering Input/Output (I/O) interfaces in space-sensitive military systems requiring hermetic sealing and resilience in extreme conditions. They can include protective components for transient resistance and High Power Microwave (HPM) pulse durability. Each assembly is integrated into a single package with individually filtered contacts, ensuring optimal performance for military applications.

RF Immunity offers advanced filter and lightning protection solutions for avionic, naval, and ground applications, covering power, control, and communication lines. Our products are available for metal connectors, receptacles, and plugs, combining EMI/RFI filtering with transient and lightning protection. Filter options include L, C, LC, CL, PI, T, and double topologies, with customized working voltage and filtering characteristics for each contact. Transient and lightning protection connectors provide reliable protection against electrical transients and lightning-induced surges. Solutions are available with PCB, solder cup, or crimp terminations and can generally maintain the original connector dimensions while integrating comprehensive protection.
The Military and Customized Feed-Through Filter range is designed to meet demanding customer requirements, including specific mechanical dimensions, termination configurations, and electrical and environmental specifications. These filters can handle currents of several hundred amperes and voltages of several thousand volts, while meeting applicable standards such as MIL-STD-28861, MIL-STD-15733, MIL-STD-202, and others. Available filter configurations include C, L, PI, and T topologies, with options for resin or hermetic glass sealing. The products can be customized to provide reliable EMI/RFI filtering and protection in demanding military and industrial applications.
As part of RF Immunity’s value-added and turnkey solutions for filter connectors, the company provides comprehensive cable assembly services, including design, validation, and prototyping of customized cable assemblies. RF Immunity maintains full control over the complete wiring and harness manufacturing process, including in-process testing, ensuring high levels of quality and reliability for demanding military applications. Our cable assembly team consists of qualified professionals trained and certified to applicable IPC standards, supporting consistent workmanship and rigorous quality requirements throughout the entire production process.
The ACON series is an electro-optic active cable designed for analog and digital signal transmission over fiber in harsh environments. Based on MIL-DTL-D38999 Series III connectors, it supports standard and customized signals and protocols. ACON enables the benefits of optical communication, including high data rates, extended transmission distances, improved noise immunity, reduced weight, and compact size, while keeping electrical interfaces at both cable ends. This eliminates optical connector maintenance and simplifies system integration. The ACON 17-99 series, based on D38999 size 17-99, supports 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet and/or RF analog signals up to 3 GHz over distances up to 5 km, with integrated EMI/RFI filtering.
RF Immunity designs and manufactures customized connector sets, including receptacles and plugs, tailored to specific customer requirements. Custom solutions can be developed and produced in quantities of just a few tens of sets, with reasonable non-recurring engineering (NRE) costs. To ensure reliable performance in demanding applications, a comprehensive environmental qualification process can also be conducted. Testing verifies that the connectors meet the required mechanical, electrical, and environmental specifications and can withstand the challenging conditions associated with military environments.
RF Immunity designs and manufactures customized adapters tailored to your specific requirements, including connector type, insert arrangement, and mechanical configuration. Adapters can be supplied in standard or hermetically sealed versions, with or without integrated EMI/RFI filtering. Each solution is engineered to provide reliable electrical and mechanical performance while meeting the specific requirements of your application.

These general-purpose connectors are used for high-density applications. They are available in shell sizes 9 through 25 with up to 128 contacts of size 22 and mixed contact arrangements. The MIL-DTL-38999 family is offered in a variety of receptacle mounting configurations. These include square flange receptacles for wall and box mounting and jam nut receptacles.

The D-Sub Filtered series features high-performance and optimal filtering solutions. The series family includes RFI– as well as multi–filtering connectors (multi-filtering connectors combine RFI filters, transient protection, ESD and/or EMP filters, etc.). All these are integrated into shells and dimensions similar to those of the standard non-filtering D-Sub connectors.

These connectors are supplied with a contact spacing of 2.29 millimeters, allowing the incorporation of a large number of contacts in a standard-size D-Type connector shell. The available pin counts are 15, 26, 44, 50, 62, and 78 in three rows. The current contact rating is 5A.
The accepted wire sizes are 24 to 20 AWG.

MIL-DTL-26482 Series II connectors feature rear-release contacts. The advantage of this feature lies in the capacity to insert and remove contacts from the rear end of the connector preventing the front end of the connector from being damaged, which can result in the destruction of the sealing.

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) is an ever-present topic which needs to be considered in the design of electronic applications. In most cases, especially when a design fails the EMC test, short-term solutions are required.
