The Radiation Tolerant Intelligent NAND Flash Memory Stack (RTIMS FLASH) is a user-friendly, high-density, plug-and-play, radiation-protected NAND Flash memory solution.
The new 64 Gbit module is the continuation of the previous 8 Gbit module. It embeds NAND Flash memory and an intelligent Flash Memory Controller (FMC). The FMC provides the module with full protection against radiation effects such as SEL, SEFI, and SEU. It also provides continuous logical sectors (no bad blocks) and valuable features such as wear leveling, memory self-test, and internal registers for telemetry information. A deep power-down mode is supported for improved power consumption.

The FLASH RTIMS is fully configurable with H/W configuration pins and a user interface port. With its standard FLASH NAND interface, the FLASH RTIMS can be easily connected to any existing microprocessor or FPGA with a built-in NAND Flash interface. The embedded high-level functions allow it to be used as a small stand-alone local data recorder. The module packaged in a SOP 52 is available with screening options up to space grade level and various temperature ranges.
