Space Micro has developed a lower cost, high-bandwidth communication subsystem for CubeSats/nanosatellites. This new product leverages Space Micro’s legacy µSDR family with TRL=9 maturity and flight heritage, for DoD and NASA program, but with dramatically lower price with the intelligent application of COTS parts, coupled with the volume production for LEO constellations.
“We are pleased to have developed a low-cost nanosat/CubeSat communications system that uses our core competencies of reprogrammable software defined radios (SDR) and use of COTS parts in space,” said Space Micro CEO David J. Strobel.
