Space Micro Delivers Single Board Computer for Lunar IceCube Mission
San Diego, CA – February 8, 2018 Space Micro delivered a Proton400k™ single board computer to Morehead State University for use in the Lunar IceCube mission.Lunar IceCube is a NASA mission supported by NASA’s Advanced Exploration Systems (AES) and led by Morehead State University to enable future human exploration of the lunar surface. A 6U CubeSat slated for launch on the Exploration Mission 1 (EM-1), Lunar IceCube will investigate the transport physics of water ice and other volatiles while in lunar orbit.
